We offer comprehensive mobile pet pregnancy ultrasound scanning and microchipping services based in Bideford, North Devon.

We use the latest mobile pet pregnancy scanning equipment and have many years of experience in breeding cats and dogs. Advanced bookings are appreciated as I can get busy. To avoid disappointment, please book your scan as soon as possible, however we do try to fit everybody in.

We also offer pet microchipping services, as you may know since April 2016 it’s the responsibility of the breeder (you) to microchip all puppies before they leave for their new homes. You may be fined up to £500 for selling a puppy that is not microchipped.

Microchipping

We offer a mobile service or alternatively you can bring your animals to my place of work.

As you may know since April 2016 it’s the responsibility of the breeder (you) to microchip all puppies before they leave for their new homes.

I am a fully licensed Professional Implanter providing a mobile microchipping service for puppies and kittens throughout North Devon and surrounding areas.

Why Microchip?

Sadly, thousands of pets are lost or stolen each year, microchipping your pet and registering their details on a national database gives you the best chance of finding them and being reunited.

Microchipping offers pet owners the only truly permanent method of identification, each microchip carries it own unique identification number which once identified greatly improves their chances of getting back home safely.

Ultrasound Scanning

Scanning your pet will confirm pregnancy (or not) so this is a very useful tool for breeders planning the management of breeding plans.

The ultrasound (from 28 days) can give you an idea of the litter size and detect any possible anomalies. More importantly perhaps, it can predict the time of whelp.

Ultrasound scans are a non-invasive, safe and painless procedure that pose no risk to mum or puppies. Scans are performed at different stages throughout pregnancy to gain valuable insight and provide peace of mind allowing the owner to be fully prepared for the puppies’ birth.

I use a mobile VIS Scan Pad to perform scans – this state of the art equipment offers superior image quality optimised for pregnancy detection and complies with international standards on ultrasonic safety.

I am a qualified VIS (Vet Image Solutions) canine sonographer trained by the only company recognised by the Animal Ultrasound Association.
